Another Grand Cru which did disappoint compared to the Clos St. Jacques from the same producer same year. Oddly uninteresting and closed or too polished? Blackberries and tea leaves hard to read right now! Too much wood on this? Still the best of the the 3 Grand Crus I tasted that night but not as good as Jacques.

spectacular! tart cherry, bright strawberry, and little earthiness perfectly integrated with perfectly balanced acidity and creamy tannins. Such big and long finish is keep reminding me of this wine
