The profile of the 2012 Louis M. Martini Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is consistent with the profile of the 2013 I reviewed last spring—how did I manage to get the vintages out of order? No matter, these are wines with great aging potential, they can be squirreled away for a decade or more. Black currants, plums, cola, dried mint and aged leather—it's satiny-smooth on the palate, with ample concentration and suave yet ripe tannins. A hedonistic Sonoma Cab with a modest price tag. 14.3% ABV

A great balance between fruit and tannins, had this wine on Christmas in front of the fireplace, a perfect evening.

Hits the middle of too sweet and too dry. Mostly I was sold by how well it aged days after being uncorked.

May 27th, 2016너무 기대가 컸을까?? 같은 회사의 같은 이름 napa valley wine을 너무 좋아해서 더 나을거란 기대감으로 샀건만... 왜 이런 맛인지 모르겠다.. 처음 오픈 했을 때 코르크마개에서 느껴지는 향은 매우 훌륭했디만 정작 와인은 탄닌이 많고 시큼한 맛이 두드러지는 맛이었다. 시간이 지날수록 바닐라향과 오크 형이 올라오며 나아지긴 했지만 기대했던 블랙베리향과 스모키함 그리고 밀키한 느낌은 맛볼 수 없었다. 가격 대비 맛이 많이 아쉽다. 아니면 내가 와인 세팅을 잘못한건지... ㅠㅠ 이젠 비싼 와인 못마시겠다, 실망이 너무 커서!!!

At this price point you would expect something to really stand out.. It is incredibly smooth but sincerely lacking in flavor.
