Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Over 75 years, the Martini family have crafted Cabernet Sauvignon wines from vineyards of Sonoma & Napa counties, carried on by 3rd gneration winemaker Michael Martini. A blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon with Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, and Merlot making up the rest. Aromas of ripe black fruits and subtle spice. On the palate ripe flavors of blackberry and dark currant flavors with herb notes and cacao. Savory tannins, good balance, lingering ending with juicy mineral tones. Very nice. Tasting Sample.

Amazing cab...delicious and balanced. Now when you factor in the price the ratings should go up. I’ve seen some ratings here listed at 8...I happen to think these guys are clowns and wouldn’t know a good wine from a bad one. I had the 2013 vintage and enjoyed it thoroughly!!

Literally evaporating off my tongue. Unfortunately somewhat raisin-like taste to dampen my enthusiasm.

Toasted bread-bowl jacuzzi filled with raspberry jam; Hawaiian steel guitar soundtrack; vintage station wagon fins.

Aroma of plumb. Slight asphalt taste. Light tannins.

Good Cabernet. Would buy again.

Louis m Martini 2013 cabernet sauvignon from Napa valley. An intense blackberry cobbler bouquet. Nice blackberry and ripe black plumb beginning. Mid palate is black pepper and tobacco. The finish is dry and so smooth. Earthy oak and CA soil! Sweet!

Nice dark fruit, heavy/full body, long finish.

Very good, medium dry, great after taste.
