Louis Magnin
Vin de Savoie Chignin Bergeron Roussanne
Blogger/Director of Communications and Financial Operations Rosenthal Wine Merchant
This wine is gorgeous. Aromatics hint at the complexity you get on the palate. 2010 was a very good year for the Magnins, who were able to pick later than usual and even got a touch of botrytis in this wine.

Honey, apricots, rich lemon meringue, almost like lemons off the grill. This is not a laser beam acidity wine. This covers the entire palate.

Apr 15th, 2016Olives out of the bottle! Opens up to reveal Granny Smith Apple, deep, rich oakiness. This wine is huge, unfurling over the course of two hours to reveal layer upon layer of smokiness, deep rich orchard fruit, white raisins, honey, and toffee. Massive and a bit boozy on the release.
