Mellowed after about an hour and was very solid Barolo. Less dynamic and more muted than I expected. Fruit was in back seat but still balanced well.

Took 4 hours for the funk to blow off. Tasty. Firm tannins. You can tell the new oak influence.

Wildly aggressive even at 18. Would like to see where it's at in a few more years.
