Cannubi Boschis Barolo Nebbiolo

If the 2012 was great, this one is ground—almost caramel in texture and taste except not sweet. Full, textured, rich.

Mixed reviews in the tasting group, but I loved it. Not all Barolo can be tense and nervous all the time. This was hedo Nebbiolo, dark, extracted, tannic and piled with rich fruit and savory notes. Cooked cherry, blood orange, orange peel, tar, smoke, sauvage almost, loads of spice. I thought it was immensely fun

Drank with the 91. Nice fruit, smooth finish. Elegance.
