Right out of the bottle: a little sweet and closed. Hopefully it'll open up.
Edit: 15 minutes after pour it opened up nicely. Still very smooth, but plenty of depth in the aftertaste and scent. Only reason it's not scored higher is that it's still a tad too sweet for my taste.

Had the 2010 and thought it was magnificent. Tried a few bottles of the '12 and they aren't quite as good. This seemed to be a bad bottle as it was undrinkable. Can't give it more than 80 points. Terribly disappointing 😞.
