What a difference a ...bottle makes: a few months ago I had another bottle of this wine and it was evolved a bit too far. Not this bottle! It needed some air but then reveals a nice nose of mature Syrah. Intense nose of red/black berries and dusty pepper/spice. Palette is fresh and fruity with soft tannins and a bit of zesty bite at the end. Good balance.
