Weston hosted Friday group today and was it definitely a can’t miss tasting. Wow! Absolutely knocked it out of the park with heavy hitter after heavy hitter. Similar to Wednesday group, all wines are tasted blind.
Wow. Just an absolute stunner of a wine. I’ll be honest...to those of you who enjoyed this wine upon release 1-2 years ago, I don’t know how you did it. This sucker is wound up and will stay that way for a while. Sheer To-Kalon power. The fruit is so pure, dark and building. Blue fruit, black fruits, plum, graphite, currant. This was actually my least favorite of the 5 at first taste and slowly but surely overtook almost every wine. I NEED one of these!
