Pignoletto Frizzante

Summer breeze

Never had a Prosecco this focused. No excess sweetness. Bright but subtle citrus fruit with a twist of herbal. Simple yet great. Redrinkable city.

eye: a little more depth of color than your standard pale lemon

nose: green apple, white peach, pear, herbal bouqet

palette: dry, low alcohol, high acid, light body, long mineral finish

overall: the herbal nature and long finish keep this wine rather interesting

Quite substantial. Elegant beyond expectations but not to the extent of champagne. Lovely surprise.
