Just perfect. Bloody, floral, nutty, iodine, mineral, smells like the essence of Morgon. Elegant and pure. Juicy and rich. Complex. Amazingly fresh and finessed. So finessed. Stunning.

This didn't have a hair out of place at 11 years old. Beautiful drinking - 2005

Shifting to a more feminine and elegant profile, after almost 20 years this still has a lot to offer. Complex fruity and umami notes of cherry, currants, pepper, spice, cured meat, tossed earth and truffle.
Great effort, year after year.

Aged Beaujolais... Some producers over here make wines that are worth cellaring. This is a gorgeous example. Still full of life, red fruit, some barnyard and smoky minerality too. Extremely well balanced, full of finesse. A wine to buy by the dozen: drink a bottle each year and enjoy (and educate) yourself! It won't break the bank either...

Not my first bottle from this case... This one is not the best, but is still good. Herbal menthol nose subtle berries, nice acid.
