Rich color and lovely wine but not my favorite for a Solaia. Very good wine but it lacked the feeling and taste of an Italian wine to me. Narrow expression.

May 18th, 2025Strong perfume. The Cab Franc is definitely driving a more elegant and fragrant wine. This is a different than say a 2010. Well rounded and full of depth. Smokey and complex. I liked this very much but wouldn’t have thought it was a Solaia if tasting blind.
