Hits with deep fruit even right after opening. I felt the tannins strongly, which I'm not a huge fan of- however this wine is so complex and layered that it added a beauty to it that, as a whole really worked. I wish it could have been opened in the morning instead of 20 min after being seated, but it was still delicious.
