Super Tuscan blend of Merlot (75%) and Sangiovese (25%). Dark ruby/purple color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of dark cherry/berry fruit, forest floor, leather, graphite and wild herbs. Flavors of black cherry/berry and blueberry fruit, cola, tobacco and dark chocolate. Bit of vanilla on the long and drawn out finish. Firm, but well structured tannins and just enough acidity. Powerful structure, full bodied and fairly well balanced. Quite dense and rich. Better with a decant.
