PnP. Color is a mixture of red, purple, and maroon hues. Raisins, wood, and heat from the OH. The same on the palate. Much better than previous bottles.

Jun 24th, 2022Best bottle in a while. Still not reminiscent of the first bottle we had 11yrs ago in Rome, but not terrible. Dark purple color, almost black. Lots of CDP elements. Highly tannic and a rough finish. Give this ample air and drink soon. Not a wine for aging.

Notes of tart cherry and blackberry. Fruit forward and tart. Overall well balanced.
