I've heard Mondeuse described as a cross between Syrah and Beaujolais, and that's an apt description for this wine. Barnyard-y and fruit-forward with notes of plum, cherry, olive, and spice. Medium acidity with well-integrated tannins, but I wish it had more of the former. Purchased at Popina in Brooklyn, NY.
