Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of black plum, blackberries, and leather; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of strawberries, blackberry jam, and crushed gravel with a long finish. This wine is balanced (the alcohol is well integrated. I did not taste how high it is), intense, and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as outstanding. Nellie likes it, too.
