Gold Capsule. What a nose. Ripe apple. Ripe apricot and tons of spices. Gorgeous slate undertones. So pure and elegant and super racy but also shows the ripeness and fatness of 18 but in such an elegant framework. Really fresh and round but also edgy. Finishes so mineral and savory. Very persistent.

Jun 18th, 2023White Cap. Lovely nose of lime zest, lime blossom and lime sweet tarts. Lime-splosion! Huge slate and white flowers. Candied and tart green apple. So so Mosel. Palate is high acid with superb texture and sap. Very round but also energetic. Tart lime and green apple on the finish. Luscious. Wonderful complex minerals on the finish. As this airs it picks up lots of finesse. Wonderful.

Feb 22nd, 2023White Capsule. Gorgeous, vibrant and expansive nose. Huge majestic slate minerality and white flowers and a wonderful complex herbal note. Out of this world. Sweet apple fruit and some just there apricot. Gorgeous, subtle but intense and complex. Palate is fantastic. Huge acidity. 19 levels yet it’s 18, with such finesse and focus. What a wine. My 2nd bottle and this has improved greatly. Like a Mosel sweet tart. Juicy and long. So linear. Lime and apple throughout.

Nov 18th, 2022White Capsule. Something about the aroma of a great UW spatlese. Sick slate, peaches, apricot, lime, lime zest, green apple. So aromatic and complex. It’s ethereal, layered and just gorgeous. A subtle intensity. Palate is dry as dry can be with juicy, salty lime fruit and just gobs of rocky minerals on top of all it. The finish is like licking a slate rock which I’ve done before. Terrific zippy acids and tension. Great breadth here. I love Molitor. Such balance and complexity and terrific mouthfeel.

White capsule (dry). Very expressive nose and a lot going on on the palate. Mineral, citrus, some bitter grapefruit. This is still coming together and will benefit from a few more years in the bottle.
