Had a ‘14 in my cellar, aged very well for an inexpensive wine. Deep Ruby with dark edges. Aromas of berry fruit, complex spice, a touch earthy. On the palate, ripe Cherry and blackberry fruits with sweet and peppery spice. Nice approachable tannins that opened up quickly. Good balance and good length. Very Nice. Consistent quality.

Jan 12th, 2021Medium ruby in color. Plum, vanilla, tart cherry, smoke, oak, leather, baking spice, toast, licorice and strawberry candy on the nose. Tart cranberry, vanilla, cinnamon, and oak on the palate. Nice moderate acidity that balances nicely against structured tannins. Cola and coconut that fades to black pepper until settling into a coffee-like bitterness on the finish.
