One of my favorite wines ever from Müllen. No formal notes for now as I am enjoying. It’s so fine, so delicate, yet so racy and energetic. The refinement is next level. Unreal delicate opulence in the deep ocean midpalate. 9.6 for now but so close to 9.7

Feb 14th, 2022Mirabelle plum, pink grapefruit, apricot, other citrus, maybe blood orange, minerality is exquisite, sweet detailed but so dry on the nose. Inner mouth aromas, crystalline structure, very pure, long, sexy ample texture. Long. Grippy. Needs 3-4 years. Then will last 10-15 years.
With air this comes alive more. Candied apricots, confectionery aromas and superb spice. Palate is tangy and fresh with loads of acidity. Gorgeous clarity and tremendous finesse and precision.
Mirabelle plum, pink grapefruit, apricot, other citrus, maybe blood orange, minerality is exquisite, sweet detailed but so dry on the nose. Inner mouth aromas, crystalline structure, very pure, long, sexy ample texture. Long. Grippy. Needs 3-4 years. Then will last 10-15 years.

Nose is minerals made from lemon rocks. Lemon flowers. Lovely.
Palate is incredibly mineral. Gods lemon soda. Just so fresh. So well made. An echo of pith to balance it out. Very slightly delicious. Enough to make it interesting but not so much to make it Jejune. So true to place.
This is not a show stopper. But it is a beautiful example of what it is. And with proper food a part of a perfect evening.

Nose is freshly crushed pebbles. Fresh lemon peel. Some pink grapefruit. Gorgeously elegant Citrus perfume.
Palate is stunning mineral lemon candy. Knife edge precision. Lovely minerality. So precise and balanced. Like great champagne. Good density. Not elite. But expertly made. This could not be better made. Minerals are so present the are almost spicy.
Long precise finish. Mineral. Lemon. Against that fresh mineral “spice.” Lingering. So good.

Palate has a blast of pebbly minerality. Almost like drinking flowers. Hint if white peach. Indescribably delicious. As it opens almost a sweet juiciness. Minerality is perfectly interlaced with the fruit.
Expansive internal aromatics. Some green apple.
