Love this stuff tho it varies from vintage to vintage. With some age, this strutted plenty of tertiary notes of minerals, licorice, smoke, Earth, leather & black pepper. Red & black fruit profile was ripe & tangy. Smooth w/decent finish. Just barely pulling itself above the rustic category.

Nov 5th, 2016This one is a very good wine to go with food. There's elements of lemon balsamic dark fruit and a little bit of herb. It's not sweet in the sense of sugary sweet but it definitely has this sort of implied sweetness of a sun-dried tomato. In fact that's what I paired it with was Lamb with sun-dried tomatoes with Thyme and rosemary. This is a very good one for the price and a great table wine for drinking with food. It's not going to blow you away but it's a great everyday wine the body is medium to full body.
