This wine was a bit disjointed. Some decent fruit and tannins but it lacked a harmonious overarching theme. Paired fairly well with a steak.

Complex. A lot going on. Some raisins at first. Then cherry. Oak on the nose. Decent tannins. Unfortunately, though, it was a big wine with so much of a punch in the face (lots of flavors) that it lost any sense of refinement.
