Cuvée Red Blend

Cedar, and graphite dominate earthy tones balanced with tapenade, brine, leather and black tea. A beautiful blend of 64% merlot, 21% cab sav, 12% cab franc

This is the closest wine to a Pinot Noir under the Matthews brand. Although Merlot-dominant, it still provides the lightness necessary to drink a red on a warmer day. It’s a perfect median between a higher-priced and inexpensive wine at an average of $34. Excellent bottle of wine.

Lovely mix of herbs, berry, and vanilla bean. Bold but smooth, this makes a delightful medium bodied red.

First vintage of this Tuesday spaghetti night wine! Smooth without too much structure. Easily drunk with basically any meal. Medium body, with more warm, red fruits on the palate.

Wow! Matthews Cuvée is 49% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Cabernet. Dried herbs, vanilla bean and red current on the nose and offers deep strawberry, spice and vibrancy on the palate. This wine has endless pairings. Grabbed a case of this one since the price is as incredible as the wine.

The Matthews 2017 Cuvee is delicious! It is a special gem that stands way above your average Cuvee. Predominantly Merlot, with the addition of Cab Franc and Cab Sav. rounds out the flavor. Easy drinking, smooth wine.
