Blend of Aglianico, Montepulciano, and Barbera made by Steve Matthiasson. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in neutral oak. Light and refreshing with good acidity and fruit, light tannins, and only 11.5% alcohol without discernible residual sugar. The 1L bottle and crown cap are appealing. Would serve chilled as a picnic wine. $21.

Not much I enjoy more than light, bright, juicy red wines served with a chill. And from Napa?!? Started this last night with Pesach brisket from L’Oursin and just drained the rest. I’d happily drink this every night, and I never dreamed I’d say that about a CA wine.

Super sippable, strawberry cranberry and citrus notes, a little tannin on the end.
