Epic Napa valley Cabernet still very young and fresh this bottle can go another 20 years . Has a little Heitz Martha’s menthol on the nose with lots of cassis some spices and liquid minerals . The finish is powerful just lacks the earthiness of Bordeaux but really amazing .

Wow!! Super well preserved with a load of well preserved black fruit and integrated tannins. Continued to open during the course of dinner. Tasted so much younger than it’s 47years. Cork has only a hard full of years left but it. Protected classic mountain fruit and moderate ABV 13%. A pleasure to share with family. 🍷🍷👍

Not going to get in the habit of rating Mayacamas wines, but this was a stunner to say the least. Tasted next to 74 Heitz Martha's, the mountain qualities were unmistakeable. Dark, firm and super-classic ; probably 15+ more years ahead for sure. Amazing to taste next to the Heitz - polar opposites stylistically.
