Materium Cabernet Sauvignon

Really lush and plush. Soft and velvety. Not a lot of grip. We’ll see how it ages but with a nice cut of beef it’s pretty darn good!!!

I’ve had a lot of other vintages of Maybach and the materium in particular which have all been insanely good. I think I got to this one wayyyyy to early and although it’s good, it’s over the top ripe for me.
I would be intrigued to see how it ages but today it is (obviously) very primary and honestly a bit ‘sweet’. Polished and soft but doesn’t have a lot of grip. It feels like caymus today. Certainly won’t give up on chris’ wines but this one wasn’t for me on this particular day

Mmmmmmmmm....15’s. So good! Great pop & pour right off the Fed Ex truck.

Maybach Materium 2015 - it was a big wine and was too big given all of the other French wines.

I need to stand these up longer as the sediment is noticeable

I’m saying slightly corked. I smell wet cardboard but no one else is complaining. Past that it’s still delicious

Pure, Blackberry, Almost a “refreshing thirst quenching style” compared with other more concentrated vintages. Long life ahead. Cheers 🍇🍷
