A pleasant reminder of how delicious good Chianti can be. Not overly structured but with lots of hallmark Sangiovese sour cherry fruit notes and ripe but evident tannins. Less drying on the finish than is typical for Chianti.

A touch sweet, but the oakiness comes through. Very nice with pasta.

Medium body and mouth feel but pretty dry. More subtle finish that does actually have a little almond flavor.
