Yet another spectacular white wine from the Alto Adige. Sublime expression of Sauvignon Blanc without many of the typical varietal characters. Instead a beautiful cocktail of orchard & primary tropical fruits, brilliantly balanced with bright acidity and with a long finish. Fantastic. — 7 years ago

A huge improvement on previous vintages where great fruit didn't always end up as great wine. This now has a great balance of ripe tropical fruit and a crisp, refreshing acidity which creates a very appealing wine with surprising length & elegance. — 7 years ago

Fantastic & innovative brew from Thornbridge with opulent roasted mocha and chocolate malt characters but also a seductive structure and real balance. Try this at room temperature with crème brûlée - match made in heaven. — 8 years ago

Delicious Galician Albariño with a lovely balance of richness & freshness despite the youth of the vintage. Ripe orchard fruits & a silky texture makes this a benchmark example of this style. — 7 years ago

Nice balance of richness from the oak & crisp, bright crunchy Sauvignon Blanc fruit. Balanced & fresh with a long finish. Less overt oak than last tasted and much the better for it. — 7 years ago

No expense spared here on either the quality of fruit or the oak. Not really a 'Meritage' as seemingly 100% Cabernet Sauvignon but full, rich and complete with no need for other blending components. A delicious & elegant wine and probably the Cape's best of this style. — 7 years ago
