My favorite of the chardonnays from Melville, the Inox never sees oak: 100% stainless steel. The higher acidity that approach imparts really allows the wine to age. This ine is drinking really well - and was still terrific the next day - which tells me that it has several years of life left (if only I had another bottle!).

Feb 2nd, 2021One of the better incarnations of Melville’s stainless steel-fermented chardonnay. Aromas of lemon peel, candied melon, and a trace of flint. Terrific acidity, with a nice evolution of flavors on the palate that serve to fill the wine out. Surprisingly lingering finish given the degree of acidity, which suggests to me that this wine is going to be very interesting for quite a few years. Great job by the team at Melville!

Excellent Chardonnay. All stainless allows the fruit to come foreword. Translucent color with perfect acidity. Easily approachable and perfect for a summer afternoon

Another winner from one of my favorite local wineries. Flavors of white nectarines, hibiscus flowers, and ripe tropical fruits , pineapple. Rich round finish typical of a California chard.
