Mesquida Mora
Sincronia Mallorca Negre
2019 vintage. Mallorcan light-bodied red made from Callet, Gorgollasa, Mantonegro, Monastrell, and Cabernet varieties. Deep color with magenta rim. Stewed black cherry, fresh blackberry, plum, rocky slate, kind of a saline mineral thing.

1 person found it helpfulMar 19th, 2021Didn't find the Sicilian bottle I thought I had, found something I forgot about from the Spanish island instead.
Not as light, esp in color, as I expected from James pitch and other reviews. Medium bodied with high acid and med tannins. Takes a minute to open but worth the wait. Mediterranean herbs on the noes, earth and rich earth and slightly tart fruit on the pallet
"Combines freshness and power" was a solid summary

Fresh light body wine with, dark color, raspberry fruit, soft tannins, medium/high acidity, caRamel, wet earth, flowers and spicy, herbal character…. Perfect summer wine with character and presence but with tendency to wild parties by the ocean under the moon…

Jan 27th, 2022My first wine from Mallorca whilst in Barcelona. Super jammy goodness and enough tannins to hold up to the spicy soppresata. Would recommend. Highly drinkable.
