Method
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

JUST OPENED AND POURED WITH AN AERATOR: Smells a bit of dust and graphite … and alcohol. Definitely boozy. Tastes like dark cherry. Tiny bit of violet. Tannin. A little bitter. Less texture than I like. I’ve had this before and it was better (much more big Napa cab taste), but it’s pretty good. Not worth the $17 I paid - too bad I bought a case. Oh well. Hopefully more air will improve it. EDIT: BETTER THE NEXT DAY, STILL NOT UP TO THE FIRST COUPLE BOTTLES I TRIED.

Aug 28th, 2021Smooth, pleasant. Deep red body, nice legs and a pleasant bouquet. I normally like a peppery or tannin wine and this teases with hints of those. Not over powering.
