A Miner Family project with French partners, the powerful earthy and loamy rich nose was writing checks this very nice, smooth and well-made Syrah couldn’t cash. Silky, leathery dark red fruit, but fell apart just a bit in decanter. Drink up.

Dark. Inky. Smoky. Deep tobacco and earth. Long finish. Big structure medium to big tannins. Not a wine for faint of heart.
