Miner Family
Napa Valley Chardonnay
Founded in 1988 by Dave Miner, president of Oakville Ranch Vineyards, along with his wife Emily and his parents, Ed and Norma. Aged for 10 Months 30% New French Oak, concentrated stone fruit aromas. On the palate crisp apple, melon and citrus flavors with soft toasty oak and lively acidity. Lingering finish ending with sweet notes, continued to gets better with every glass.

Jul 20th, 20172013-$48 less 30/10, net $28 at Safeway; slightly sweep, syrupy bouquet; light honey hue; good mouthfeel; some legs; slightly tart, viogner like finish; good to have tried.

Jan 2nd, 2017Slightly buttery nose. Medium but not over powering oak. Very pleasant. White spring time flowers. Lovely pears and ripe granny smith apples. Lingering finish due to oak with vanilla notes at very end. Fantastic.

Jul 16th, 2016Crisp d'anjou pear and honeydew melon accompanied by toasted almond flavors. Full-bodied from the oak influence, but nicely proportioned and not overwhelming. The acidity lingers nicely on the refreshing finish. Well done Burgundian style.
