Breaking the rules at #ipob! Debut syrah from @Joanna Wells (@Jamie Kutch's assistant winemaker) a delish - and yes, hella balanced - treat.

So interesting. Almost Burgundian nose. Earthy and mushroom - a bit austere. Lots of tannins. Nice fruit but a bit dry on the palate and short/short medium finish. Needs more time. Hopefully ...
