Had alongside the VV of the same vintage. It pails in comparison but was a proper Echezaux

This was pretty well priced for a GC, but for good reason. Behaves more like a 1er cru or a good village imo (complexity, finish), but an absolutely smashing drop regardless. Surprisingly very primary (almost candied), touched by some tertiary notes. Yum!
