Posted this once before, but felt it worthy of posting twice. Watch out, personal opinion alert 🚨, but this is the best Beckstoffer GIII single vineyard wine I've come across for the price. I know @Martin G Rivard @Ron R @David L @Mike Rowe and others are on the Judge Palmer train, but I haven't tried it yet. All I know is for $85, nothing I've tasted from BGIII can beat this. The bouquet rocks of blackberry currant, smoked cedar, plum and fresh squeezed blueberries. Medium plus tannins on the tongue with a medley of cola, blueberry pie, and a beautiful texture. Reminds me of a young Howell Mountain cab. Before the bandwagon gets full, hop on people...Russell Bevan just took over the winemaking. All aboard the Bevan train. 🚂

Beautiful wine. Give this one a few more years in the bottle. It's got an awesome life ahead of it. Big tannins right now. If decant for 3 hrs minimum

You are the man @Shay Aldriedge! Cannot wait to try the Montagu Wines that Bevan will make. Let's talk and do another exchange soon!

Deep ruby red with purplish hues. Lovely and complex nose with layers of black currant, cassis, cedar, cinnamon, vanilla, a little spices and a touch of floral notes. Even a touch of blackberries, dust and dark cocoa as it opened up. Needed some time to open up, this is a baby. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Layered with tons of structure and notes of graphite, cassis, black currants, dark gravel, and dark cocoa. A touch dry and lingering finish, around 30 seconds plus. Drink till 2030.

Definitely potential to increase a point or so in the future.

@Shay Aldriedge wow
I have been sick, knee operated on and crappy last week so first bottle in I don't remember and just amazing

I just decanted for a hour and first slip is singing - rhonda says this baby is what we love in our Napa cabs - big bold and beautiful - color is a lovely deep purplish red - the nose hits me with memories and sweet memories - the taste comes through delivering with full force - the finish continues to linger- amazing

Appreciate the signed bottle from the owner Weston

Truly a great gift my friend and glad I choose this to get back in the game

Hope we get to meet one day and share some great wine and stories soon

Oh and by the way - this wine is all about smiling - and we are smiling
