Montevertine
Pian del Ciampolo Toscana Super Tuscan Blend
Superb! A Super Tuscan using all indigenous grapes. No oak makes it super fresh.

Oh that dusty, grandma's attic Italian nose! Also, tons of fallen leaves, stewed fruit and almost Nebbiolo-floral aromatics. Acidity still holding strong on day 2. Pleasant, if a bit muted from what I expected from this famous wine!

Bright red fruit of cherry, strawberries and raspberry. Hint of leather. On palate: high acid and fruity. Tads of acidity oozes out when you flick the wine in your mouth. Medium minus body. A balanced and simple wine with short finish.
