Nov 11th, 2018Fucking gorgeous, such value too. ‘15s are crushing it in CC. Perfumed, elegant, texturally silky, loads of class. Very upfront, immediate, not necessarily a wine of length. Minerality and finely textured tannin drive the wine, classic cherry, violet, and herbal tones of Sangiovese. Just love this wine every time I have it.

Nov 1st, 2019Nose of green pepper, basil, casis, touch of white pepper. Solid tannin structure costing the entire tongue with acidity that coats the outside of the tongue. Black current, blackberry, that green pepper again, and a dusting of earth. It definitely needs a solid decant, 1-2hrs minimum. Nice.
