Pale garnet hue. Aromas of cherry, earthy, oak, pepper, strawberry, and vanilla. Medium body; soft, medium-minus tannins; and medium-plus acidity. Flavors of cherry, earthy, strawberry, and vanilla on the palate, with a medium-length finish. Good balance between the fruit, acidity, and tannins. Very food-friendly wine. A small percentage of Syrah adds structure and spice.
