Nice, not super subtle but its rusticity was a great companion to the pot roast pheasant with stuffed onion, chestnut and sage on a Sunday.

Had an Austrian red 1-2 at Terroir Tribeca last night. Started with the 2013 Moric Blaufrankish. Inky like Malbec and lots of savory blackfruit and some pepper but jolt of acid saved the day on the finish.
