The crowd favourite at the Brisbane tasting of Cabernets. Cabernet Sauvignon 78/Malbec 10/Merlot 10/Petit Verdot 2. Similar in style to the Mount Brave. Black and blue fruits. Oaked up and ripe.

2012 vintage. Mount Eden Vineyards wine dinner @Mister A’s Restaurant-San Diego. Decanted and tasted after opening and 4hrs later. Dark and dense nose and flavors at the onset. Medium body but very very close to light-medium. Tasting 4 hrs later, wine had gained a little weight with a grippy consistency and plenty of dark fruit/espresso love. Wine has dropped all the baby fat and entered “the zone.” Just below cresting the top of the bell curve and set up for a decade+ of top-notch pleasure. 4.20.23.
