Inky dark in color. Dark fruit nose. Tannic from start to finish with spice, mineral and dark fruit in the middle with cedar and pencil lead at the end.

This cab, however, is a beautiful single vineyard cab from the Arroyo Seco and lives up to its $17 for a $40" billing. Dusty earth and dense, black fruit on the nose (also mint and tobacco). More medium bodied in the mouth, but with rich earthy flavors of hard packed soil, blackberries and a hint of sweet oak underneath. Nice, long finish.
