Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

In a really good spot right now. Still holding some primary fruit but will start to develop over the next couple years as the fruit dries out.

18 years and didn’t miss a step.

Beautiful nose of graphite and allspice. A hint of bell pepper and black tea on the palate. Still has good structure. Don't see it getting better from here. Good bottle of wine but unfair for it to follow the Pahlmeyer and ADV.

Balsamic macerated strawberries but sweetness cut by strong tannic backbone. Sentimental bottle: wedding gift. Perfect for tonight's valentines steak. Could go another 10 years.

Loved this wine. It's a deep earthy wine and would be perfect with a steak and baked potato.
