A lot to unpack here. nose - cassis, camphor/menthol, eucalyptus, forest floor, dill, graphite and ripe black fruit. Juicy acidity and elegant tannins. Would have easily guessed Bordeaux.

Color is deep purple to deep ruby with a nose of plum, candied fruits, and vanilla. Good mouthfeel, medium bodied, with slight, smooth tannins and a reasonable finish.

2014 vintage. Chock full o’tannins and the anti-California fruit bomb. Finished with a nice, lingering tea component. Tremendous bang for the buck.
