This is an ‘07 I’m drinking in Nov ‘22. Ruby with slight browning. Black fruit nosed. Smooth as butter. Tannins super softened but still present. Fruit is muted but still ripe. Structure has held together very well, though this is certainly at or slightly past it’s latest drinking window. Nevertheless, drinking very nicely. Black and dark red fruit, pipe tobacco, graphite, leather, fig. Finish is fairly short at about 15s.
