Needs time to breath definitely, a big boy on black fruits for now, light baking spices note, nice tannins, still feels quite young, long finish, a port that will age lovely and sleep for ages in your cellar 😄

This bottle is from a batch that is known to have high risk of VA, because of some cork mistake. Luckily this bottle from auction did not suffer from this problem. This 24 year old vintage port is in good condition, with garnet color and high primary fruity note. People in the same event commented that for this high alcohol wine the alcohol smell is not uncomfortably pronounced. High acidity balances with the sweetness. Some red fruits, like cherry and jam. Finish is long. Enjoyed this a lot.

Had this sitting in my cellar since released… a stunner. Full bodied mouth feel, raisins and a bit of nutty fruit cake. Saved some for next day and it continued to satisfy.
