The Explorer Series Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This needs some serious decanting. Best on the third day when all the finer nuances have been revealed. Black cherries, strawberries, mocha, oak, smoke and a touch of mint. Balanced and smooth.

Thick and lush. It needs to be aired for at least 2 days. Solid bottle for the inland grapes from the King family.

First time eating at this popular local joint. Small but decent wine list and excellent friendly service.

2013 vintage very nice. Great with a rib eye. Not quite as bold as a good California Cab.

Heat and burn...

With some airing, it was very nice. I'm impatient and wanted it NOW so I blended it🤔 yup and wow did it open up. Wonderful bottle.

Needs some major air. Best on day 3 when it starts to open up and reveal charcoal, oak, cocoa, mocha, cherry.
