Recently disgorged 1992, the first commercial vintage of Nyetimber and one for the top wines from the NEWTS dinner last night. Fine brioche and apples, with poised mousse and a very long finish; acidity balanced with faint hint of sweetness (don't know the dose age but expect 7-8g). Very good indeed... Perhaps it's time to reassess my position on English sparkling wine?
