13.5%. Plenty of cherry. Morello cherry. Dark Rasberries . Good acidity. Needs quite a bit of air. It has a lot of fruit but is not a fruit bomb. Well made closer to a Burgundy in style than the classic CA overcooked fruit bomb. At the moment no secondary flavors of interest. Needs time for the fruit baby fat to fade.

Very extracted and fruit forward. Laser focused and bright acidity. This is just a puppy…will likely fire on more cylinders with at least 2-3 more years in the bottle.

Complex and earthy. This wine has a strong flavor of flowers and forest. Beautiful purple color. It was a tad more tart than I remember but it was a deep rich experience. Opened up nicely after about 30-40 minutes.

Nov 10th, 2023Nope. Not doing it for me. Bottle wasn’t tainted but the wine was definitely poor. Profile was quite limited. Fruit was slight and there was a raisin residue more often found in Cab rather than Pinot. It was an odd bottle and it wasn’t worth finishing. Shame as I love this producer.
