One of the better napa cabs tried this year. Decadent nose, powerful depth, silky smooth finish.

Gorgeous earthy tones - not as fruit forward as I was expecting. Refined and showing beautifully.

Deep ruby almost purple hue. Noticeable tearing. Blackberry jam, black cherry, currant, and dried fig on the nose. Also notes of black pepper, baking spices, anise, molasses, and mushrooms. Soft tannins on the palate. Consistent with the nose. Vintage 2013. ABV 15.4%.

Some serious juice. Awesome nose, deep complexity, nice body. This thing is a suave powerhouse.

Drank with short rib special. Delicious!
